The PR Week Top 150 agencies were announced last week and it gives us great pride to see, even after 89 years in the industry, we’re still one of the best, still fully independent – and still getting better every year! This year we climbed up 10 places in PR Week’s Top 150 Agencies in the UK, from position 112 in 2017 up to 102. Of course size isn’t everything and R&T has never been about growth for growth’s sake.
However, since the start of 2019, we have won four new
clients through competitive pitch processes, plus hired 4 new members of staff
(plus one re-joiner!) and there’s still room for more.
This news came just days after we were shortlisted for Social Media Campaign of the Year in the PRCA Dare Awards for our work with Irish Distillers and the news of another new business win (which we’ll be announcing soon – watch this space).
“It’s great to move up the rankings,” said chief executive Rob Metcalfe, “but we’d much rather be a medium sized agency doing brilliant work for our clients than obsessed by growth at all costs. We have a fascinating and solid heritage, and continue to set the bar high with innovative and ground breaking work.”
What a week, what a year, what a time to be at Richmond
& Towers!
