Top Summer 2017 Food Trends on Instagram

Summer may be coming to an end, but there’s still time to nail those Instagram-ready dishes. If you’ve ever wanted to make the picture perfect meal – there’s some things you could try. Every year a huge number of creative foodies experiment with new looks and ways to frame their food. Thankfully, we’ve kept an eye on them and we reckon we’ve got the key visual trends down. Bowl goals From smoothies to nice cream, foodie bloggers are going bold and colourful with their bowls. Nice cream is just frozen banana blended together – but don’t be afraid to chuck in extra fruit, such as dragonfruit, kiwi, or whatever you fancy. These photos are being taken overhead, complete with beautiful ingredients. Once again, colour is key! Or they’re taking a more minimalist approach, organising their ingredients into food art arrangements. Foodies are taking full advantage of clear containers to show off their recipes. From fruit pressed against glass surfaces to different coloured layers of smoothie, this trend is all over our Instagram feeds.
